AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Stroke Injector Oil offers the convenience of one formula for the tough conditions of all two-stroke recreational equipment requiring NMMA TC-W3 and API TC two-stroke oil. It is tested and proven to minimize wear and deposits that can damage internal components. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Stroke Injector Oil provides quality and affordability for cost-conscious enthusiasts who want the benefits of synthetic two-stroke oil.

Wear Protection

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Stroke Injector Oil reduces wear and maximizes engine life. Its high lubricity and reliable film strength help protect against piston scuffing and bearing wear.

Engine Cleanliness

AMSOIL Injector Oil is clean burning. It is fortified with high-temperature detergent and dispersant additives and naturally resists harmful deposits that cause ring-sticking, ring-jacking and exhaust power valve sticking. AMSOIL Injector Oil is ideal for direct-injection outboard motors, snowmobiles and personal watercraft (PWC).

Cold-Temperature Performance

AMSOIL Injector Oil provides cold-temperature fluidity with a pour point lower than -60°F. Rapid oil flow on cold starts ensures oil reaches vital components quickly and helps prevent damaging, dry starts.

INTERCEPTOR Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil is specifically designed for reliability and longevity in hard-ridden snowmobiles, dirt bikes, ATVs and PWCs, helping enthusiasts spend more time riding and less performing maintenance. Its low-smoke, low-odor properties help ensure riders won’t be “smoked out.” INTERCEPTOR is compatible with nearly all other two-stroke oils and is recommended for most makes and models of two-stroke powersports equipment, eliminating the need to purchase and store multiple types of oil. It’s an oil engineered to be pushed as hard as the equipment it protects.

Anti-Scuff/Anti-Wear

Two-stroke powersports engines have evolved to run on leaner gas-to-oil mixtures, increasing harmful friction and heat. INTERCEPTOR’s synthetic formulation incorporates high-molecular-weight components with high flash points that resist burn-off. As a result, a greater amount of oil survives the combustion process to provide lubrication and protection. Its excellent lubricity and film strength inhibit metal-to-metal contact. In extreme dynamometer testing, INTERCEPTOR’s anti-scuff/anti-wear formula completely prevented piston skirt scuffing.

Excellent Deposit Control

INTERCEPTOR naturally resists harmful deposits due to its thermally stable synthetic formulation. It is additionally fortified with high-temperature detergency and dispersancy additives that provide excellent engine cleanliness. In extreme dynamometer testing, INTERCEPTOR completely prevented piston ring and exhaust power valve sticking for maximum performance. It also severely limited piston, combustion chamber and spark plug deposits for reliable operation.

Proven in Extreme Dynamometer Test on Rotax® E-TEC® Engine

INTERCEPTOR was installed in a 2012 BRP® Ski-Doo® Renegade X snowmobile equipped with a Rotax E-TEC 800R engine. Following 50 hours of severe-duty engine dynamometer testing designed to simulate a full season of real-world conditions, the engine was disassembled and rated for deposits, wear and other distress by an ASTM calibrated rater. Each component earned a merit rating on a scale of 0 to 10 (with 10 representing no distress) or a percentage rating (with 0 percent representing no distress). Results prove INTERCEPTOR excelled at inhibiting deposits and wear.

Excellent Wet-Clutch Performance

AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil contains no friction modifiers and promotes smooth shifting and positive clutch engagement. It controls heat and helps prevent slippage and glazing, while its high TBN helps improve clutch life by resisting the acids that can degrade clutch material.

Excellent Lubricity and Film Strength

High-performance and race-designed two-stroke engines operate under severe conditions. They are modified for higher compression ratios, higher rpm and leaner combustion, all of which increase heat and pressure. High heat can quickly burn off light oils and cause rapid piston expansion, decreasing piston-to-cylinder wall clearances and increasing the likelihood of piston scuffing and seizure. High pressure can exceed the film strength of low-viscosity oils, which promotes crankshaft bearing wear and pitting.

DOMINATOR is purpose-built for outstanding film strength and lubricity. It is engineered with carefully selected, higher-viscosity synthetic base oils to withstand the high heat and pressure common to high-performance and racing applications. DOMINATOR’s anti-friction chemistry is race-proven to provide an extra measure of protection against piston scuffing and bearing wear.

Outstanding Cleanliness

The oil and fuel burned in the two-stroke combustion process leave destructive deposits on the pistons, rings and in the combustion chamber. Excessive deposits can lead to catastrophic engine problems, including ring sticking, exhaust port blocking and pre-ignition.

AMSOIL DOMINATOR is formulated with clean-burning synthetic base oils and powerful high-temperature detergent additives for exceptional deposit control. RACING IS RESEARCH™

AMSOIL disassembled the Rotax motor from Scheuring Speed Sports’ Ski-Doo race snowmobile ridden by Robbie Malinoski during the 2010/2011 professional snocross tour. Both pistons revealed minimal wear and were suitable for continued use. AMSOIL DOMINATOR delivered outstanding protection for Malinoski’s Ski-Doo in the most severe environment.

APPLICATIONS

DOMINATOR is recommended for use in high performance stock or modified two-stroke motors, including air- or liquid-cooled snowmobiles, personal watercraft, motorcycles (moto X), ATVs, go-carts and outboard motors*. Good for use with coated or non-coated pistons, high-octane racing fuels and exhaust power valves. Compatible with most other two-stroke oils; however, mixing oils should be minimized.

Use in oil-injected and pre-mix applications where API TC oils are specified. In pre-mix applications, DOMINATOR delivers outstanding protection at 50:1 pre-mix ratios (2.6 oz. oil per U.S. gallon of gas), although many racers modify the mix ratio to suit their setup. Not suitable for use with alcohol or nitro-methane fuels.

Not suitable for long-term use in outboard motors as a TC-W3 type oil, although excellent as a race oil for short-term use where motors are periodically inspected.

Outstanding Wear Protection

The elevated heat and friction of modern two-cycle marine motors can exceed the film strength of inferior oils, increasing the likelihood of scuffing and wear. HP Marine’s exclusive synthetic formulation provides increased lubricity for reduced wear during normal and lean-mix operation (see field study results). In 534 hours of field testing, HP Marine completely prevented piston skirt and cylinder bore scuffing, demonstrating its superior lubricity and ability to reduce friction between moving parts. It maintains a strong lubricating film even in lean-mix, severe-service conditions, helping marine engines achieve maximum life.

Excellent Deposit Control

HP Marine is formulated with MAXDOSE™, a system of advanced additives for “super-clean” operation. It helps prevent deposits that lead to poor performance. In field testing, HP Marine inhibited ring deposits that can cause ring sticking and ring jacking (carbon build-up behind the ring, forcing it outward), a phenomenon that occurs in modern DFI outboard motors. It also virtually eliminated exhaust port deposits for reliable, efficient operation.

Proven in Marine E-TEC Field Study

HP Marine was installed in a 250-hp Evinrude E-TEC engine powering a heavy-duty marine rescue vessel. Following a 28-hour break-in period at the normal oil setting, the engine was programmed to its factory-lean setting and operated for 506 hours prior to disassembly. An ASTM calibrated rater examined and awarded each component either a merit rating on a scale of 0 to 10 (with 10 representing no distress) or a percentage rating (with 0 percent representing no distress). Results prove HP Marine provided exceptional wear protection and deposit control.

APPLICATIONS

HP Marine™ is recommended for use in all two-cycle outboard motors including, but not limited to, Johnson® and Evinrude® FICHT® & E-TEC™ (replaces XD100™ 2-Stroke Oil); Mercury® EFI & Optimax®; Yamaha®; Nissan® and Tohatsu® TLDI®; Suzuki®; Mariner® and Force®. AMSOIL 100:1 Synthetic 2-Stroke Oils have been protecting and providing improved performance in two-cycle motors since 1973.

Saber Professional (ATP) is specifically designed for small engines including, but not limited to, chain saws, lawn equipment, blowers, chop saws, pumps, scooters and go-carts. It is available in a 3.5- oz. bilingual (English/Spanish) container which is ideal for treating the 2 – 2.5-gallon cans of gas commonly used for storing mixed gas on the job. Saber Professional also works well in motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, jet boats and personal watercraft. Saber Professional is formulated with high-temperature detergent additives to help prevent hard carbon deposits from forming in these hot-operating motors. Saber Professional is “smokeless” and delivers fewer emissions at 100:1 mix ratios than oils mixed at 50:1. Equipment operators subjected to smoke and fumes will benefit from these low emission properties. Because one mix ratio satisfies multiple pieces of equipment, Saber Professional eliminates mix ratio confusion. Saber Professional is recommended for pre-mix where ISO-L-EGD, JASO FD or API TC is specified.

Designed Specifically for Chaincases & Gearcases

To reduce initial costs, some enthusiasts use automatic transmission fluid or gear lube in their snowmobile and ATV chaincases and gearcases. Neither fluid, however, is engineered for these applications. Automatic transmission fluid is a hydraulic fluid formulated without the extreme-pressure additives needed to provide enhanced wear protection, leaving gears and chains vulnerable to premature failure. Automotive gear lube is designed to lubricate hypoid gears and is too thick for proper chain and gear lubrication in powersports applications, impairing circulation and leading to wear and decreased energy efficiency.
