REDUCES HEAT AND THERMAL BREAKDOWN

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke® Power Sports Oil is wet clutch compatible and contains no friction modifiers, making it ideal for both two- and four-stroke ATV transmissions. The friction modifier-free formulation is designed to prevent clutch slippage, helping deliver maximum torque and power to the wheels – a critical feature for towing or high-horsepower engines. It meets the frictional requirements of JASO MA/MA2 and ISO-L-EMA2.

SUPERIOR WEAR PROTECTION

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke® Power Sports Oil is formulated with high levels of anti-wear additives that provide excellent protection for pistons, bearings and gears in transmission containing units. Its shear stable, SAE 40 viscosity delivers a thick lubricating film for an extra margin of protection in hard-working engines.

ANTI-FOAM

Churning occurs in high-RPM engines that can cause oil to foam, depleting its lubricating abilities and increasing heat and wear. AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke® Power Sports Synthetic Motor Oil controls foam, promoting cooler engine operation and reduced wear.

SPECIAL ADDITIVES

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke® Power Sports Synthetic Motor Oil contains robust dispersant/detergent additives that effectively neutralize the high levels of acids and combustion by-products prone to small engines. It is anti-rust fortified for superior rust prevention, which is especially important in seasonally or infrequently used power sports equipment.

APPLICATIONS AND RECOMMENDATION

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke Power Sports Synthetic Motor Oil is recommended for four-stroke engines. It is also recommended for transmissions on two- or four-stroke applications. It is an all-climate/all-season oil that replaces 0W-30, 0W-40, 5W-30, 10W-30 and 10W-40 oils for ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles and other powersports equipment. Also recommended as a replacement for Polaris Synthetic PS-4 Plus and Arctic Cat Synthetic ACX. Recommended for use wherever SAE 10W-30 or SAE 30 oil is specified in gasoline or diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and chain cases requiring the listed specifications. Applications include maintenance equipment, tractors, lawn and garden equipment, generators, compactors, pumps, light towers, welders, log splitters, power washers, cement mixers and trowels, skid-steers, excavators and compressors.

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke® Small Engine Oil (ASE) is a robust formulation designed for hot-temperature, severe-service operation of small engines where routine maintenance is often difficult or infrequent. It is formulated with premium synthetic base oils that exceed both 10W-30 multi-grade and SAE 30 straight-grade viscosity requirements. Unlike conventional SAE 30 motor oils, AMSOIL Small Engine Oil has a naturally high viscosity index and does not contain paraffin (wax). It has a -38°F pour point and qualifies for SAE 10W, making it an “all-season,” multi-grade lubricant with a wide operating temperature range. As an SAE 30 weight motor oil, AMSOIL Small Engine Oil provides outstanding protection for hot-operating engines. TRANSMISSION AND GEAR BOX COMPATIBILITY

In many scooter applications, the engine and transmission and/or gear box share the same oil reservoir. Formula 4-Stroke Synthetic Scooter Oil is absolutely shear stable and will not thin out from mechanical activity, providing superior protection for transmissions and gear boxes.

WET CLUTCH COMPATIBILITY

Some scooters utilize a frictional clutch to engage and disengage the engine from the drivetrain. In many cases, this clutch is immersed in the same oil used in the engine and transmission. Formula 4-Stroke Synthetic Scooter Oil contains no friction modifiers and is wet clutch compatible, offering smooth clutch operation and increased clutch life.

AMSOIL combined its extensive experience formulating high-performance synthetic lubricants with the engine-building expertise of Briggs & Stratton® to develop an oil specifically designed to help racers elicit the most horsepower and longest life from their engines. Synthetic 4T Racing Oil is proven in the lab and on the track to provide increased performance in kart, junior drag, quarter midget and other racing applications. It offers benefits other oils simply can’t match.

FORMULATED TO REDUCE HEAT

Synthetic 4T Racing Oil does not contain impurities inherent to conventional oils, allowing it to naturally resist the elevated heat common to high-performance racing engines, including air-cooled models. Its increased thermal stability helps reduce operating temperatures and guards against the formation of harmful sludge and deposits, promoting optimum engine performance and life.

MAXIMUM HORSEPOWER & PROTECTION

Synthetic 4T Racing Oil is engineered with specialized friction modifiers and advanced additives that reduce energy loss due to friction while providing strong anti-wear properties. As a result, Synthetic 4T Racing Oil combines the horsepower of a lite oil with the wear protection of a heavier oil.

CONTAINS POWERFUL FOAM INHIBITORS

The churning action inside high-rpm engines introduces air into the oil, which causes lesser oils to foam. As air bubbles are drawn between engine parts, they collapse, allowing metal-to-metal contact and wear. Synthetic 4T Racing Oil is engineered with powerful anti-foam agents. It resists foam to form a durable lubricating film between engine parts.

Synthetic 4T Racing Oil contains corrosion inhibitors to guard against the formation of corrosion between races and during longer periods of storage.

APPLICATIONS

Briggs & Stratton Synthetic 4T Racing Oil is formulated specifically for stock and modified small-displacement air-cooled racing engines used in kart, junior drag, quarter midget and other racing applications. It is recommended for any four-stroke air-cooled competition engine, whether single- or multi-cylinder, splash- or pressure-lubricated, including Briggs & Stratton V-Twin engines requiring the listed viscosity and lubricating properties. Synthetic 4T Racing Oil is recommended for alcohol- and gasoline-fueled engines. Compatible with mineral oils.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Do not mix with polyalkylene glycol (PAG) oils when converting to Synthetic 4T Racing Oil. Drain existing oil and refill with Synthetic 4T Racing Oil. Then operate engine at idle/low speed for 2-3 minutes. Drain oil and refill with fresh Synthetic 4T Racing Oil.
